We are two professional multimedia artists Kira Zhigalina (www.dotkira.com) and Billy A B who have collaborated on the project Multivitamin since 2018 to bring outlandish visions about aliens and future to life with the help of local kids and their families and the generous support of Royal Borough of Kensington, ACAVA Studios, Portobello Film Festival, and Culture Seeds Mayor of London Programme.

Kira has been creating projections and promo videos for 10 years, commissioned by the likes of Secret Cinema, LCO and Leeds Light Night to create immersive art experiences. In 2017, she received an RBKC Arts Grant to curate a screening programme and a stop motion animation workshop as part of Portobello Film Festival which kickstarted Multivitamin Films project. She also held Arts and Crafts workshops in Colville Primary School and at Le Petit Ecole Francais.

Billy A-B has brought his special blend of psychedelia, seashells and papier mache video projectors to intimate pop up venues, rock concerts and people’s living rooms, constantly challenging both physical and psychic contexts with his interactive spell castings. He has also directed music videos for Third Ear records, and created and performed music as DJ Tap Water – all of which feed into his video work.

Multivitamin’s vision is to create positive relationship with technology and screens, helping kids to be creators and enriching them with skills to allow their visions appear on screens. We run weekend and week long workshops where we explore different sci fi themes, make costumes and props out of recylcled materials, and educate kids on use of storyboarding, filming techniques, stop motion animation and sound effects.
